Why choose our commercial driver training courses in Nottingham?
Finding the right HGV training provider in Nottingham doesn’t have to be complicated. Whether you need HGV Class 1 training or HGV Class 2 training in Nottingham, our instructors will build a course around your experience and goals, covering Cat C, Cat C+E, and the 7.5 tonne Cat C1.
All our trainers have first-hand experience of life on the road, so you’re learning from people who’ve done the job themselves.
Once you’re ready, your practical test will usually take place at the Nottinghamshire test centre in Watnall – a short drive from the city centre.
We’ll also help you to arrange your medical assessment, theory test, practical test, and Driver CPC, so nothing holds up your progress through training.
Why become an HGV driver in Nottingham?
An HGV driving career is well paid and secure. Class 2 drivers typically earn between £30,000 and £40,000 a year, rising to as much as £55,000 for experienced Class 1 drivers.
More than 4,000 HGV drivers retire each year, and with Nottingham home to major distribution centres and haulage firms, qualified drivers are consistently in demand across the city and wider East Midlands.
