Having said that, many people have pre-conceived notions that HGV driving is much more difficult than driving a standard car, due to the sheer size of the vehicle. This isn’t necessarily true! If you’re already a good driver, chances are you’ll have plenty of transferable skills you can use behind the wheel of an HGV, such as good reaction times and great spatial awareness.
