Absolutely! HIAB HGVs come in a range of styles depending on the manufacturer but they generally still have space for goods transportation.

For this reason, they are handled just like standard HGV until you need to use the lifting equipment.

This also means that if you train to become a qualified HIAB driver, you could still drive standard HGVs. It could be needed as part of a hybrid role within your company or as extra work as overtime – either way, you can.
