Is CPC training compulsory?
Yes.
If you wish to be a qualified LGV driver, you must complete driver CPC training. This is a legal requirement for any lorry, bus or coach driver, and can result in a fine if not renewed.
How much will my training cost?
Costs can vary depending on the course you’re taking part in and the location.
We pride ourselves on competitive and affordable tuition, alongside flexible finance plans.

Is training difficult?
Our HGV training is conducted by helpful, engaging and passionate instructors, who will be there to guide you through every step of your training.
They’re professional drivers, so they have been in your shoes and are knowledgeable on every possible scenario you might find on or off the road. They’ll equip you with the knowledge and tools to become an excellent driver.
The periodic CPC training depends on attendance and classroom participation and doesn’t involve exams. So, as long as you engage with and complete your course, you cannot fail this stage.
How much do DHL drivers get paid?
Salaries vary depending on your hours, vehicle and region, to name a few factors.
DHL drivers can reportedly earn over £35,000, or up to around £22 per hour. This figure is also continuing to increase, and can escalate when you pick up extra hours and responsibilities.
Why should I become a courier?
Working within the supply chain industry, especially for industry leaders like DHL, ensures massive potential growth, job stability and security.
You’ll find plenty of opportunities for advancement within a growing industry, and you will have a massive positive influence on customers and clients, improving their days and putting a smile on their faces.
How often do I need to retrain?
CPC training, alongside your HGV licence, must be renewed every 5 years to stay qualified. If you fail to do this, you could be fined and won’t be able to drive professionally.
